BQMI is proud to be on SAIC’s winning team for NASA’s Safety and Mission Assurance Engineering Contract III (SMAEC) program. SMAEC will provide safety and mission assurance support at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX, and the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico. Participation in this prestigious $494 million contract underscores BQMI’s commitment to advancing space exploration through safety and reliability.
As part of SAIC’s team, BQMI will contribute its expertise in safety programs and training. The SMAEC program plays a vital role in enabling exploration beyond Earth’s orbit, supporting endeavors such as lunar missions, Mars exploration, and beyond.

The contract begins June 1, 2024, with a five-year base period, followed by two one-year options, with possible extensions of services through November 2031.
