BQMI Wins $60M Navy Award

A Banner Quality Management Inc. (BQMI) joint venture has been selected by the U.S. Navy for a five-year, $60 million Business Operations Support Services (BOSS) contract at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, in Crane, IN. The work was awarded under the Navy’s SeaPort-NxG vehicle.

BQMI-Peerless Joint Venture (B-P JV) will support Crane’s strategy and planning, research and analysis, financial management, communications, and logistics services. BQMI and their partner, Peerless Technologies Corporation (Peerless), along with team member Tri Star Engineering Inc. (TRISTAR) will employ over 90 business professionals for the BOSS program. Although the joint venture is new to Crane, BQMI and Peerless have worked together for ten years, supporting six contracts. In 2021, B-P JV was awarded a five-year, $233-million effort at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

BQMI is the managing partner for the joint venture and is responsible for execution of BOSS. Under a Mentor-Protege agreement with BQMI, Peerless brings deep knowledge of the Crane mission, tools and proven processes to the team.

“We are proud to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. Their mission is critical to the defense of our country.” said Pura Stalnaker, CEO of BQMI. “We appreciate our partnership with Peerless and look forward to continued success together.”
